Being the biggest criticisms of the collection being the lack of Super Mario Galaxy 2, the reason why Galaxy 2 was emmitted from the collection was for 2 main reasons, They didn't have enough time to port Galaxy 2 and that if it was ported, the collection would have been way too big.
